Our Remodeling Process.
Every great space starts with a conversation. From that very first meeting to the final walkthrough, our team is with you every step of the way.
-
It all starts with a visit to your space. Unless you're building new construction, we'll come to your home first to take measurements and see your project firsthand. This is complimentary, with no obligation. While we're there, our designers will share recommendations on any structural changes worth considering along the way. If you're building a new home or addition, we'll simply start with your plans, then head out to measure once your space is framed.
From there, we'll sit down together and talk through your vision; your style, must-haves, and how you actually live in your space. Bring your inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, and your big ideas. We'll start shaping a plan that's built around your room, not a one-size-fits-all template.
-
Once we understand what you're after, our designers get to work. We'll walk you through layout options, wood species, door styles, and finishes while always keeping function and budget in mind. This is where the vision starts to take real shape, with a clear plan and cost estimate tailored to your home.
-
Your initial design is always complimentary. It's our way of showing you what we can do, while giving you a clear budget for your cabinetry.
Once you're ready to move forward, we ask for a retainer to release your full design, the floor plans, elevations, and color renderings to you and your contractor. Think of it as a good-faith commitment to working together, reflecting the time and expertise our designers put into your project. When you purchase your cabinetry, that retainer is applied directly to your final sale.
A retainer also allows us to start ordering samples on your behalf, which includes stain chips, paint chips, full doors, and any custom finishes you'd like to see in person before the cabinetry is ordered.
-
With your design in hand, it's time to make it official. We'll walk through every detail together- the finishes and any last adjustments until the plan feels exactly right.
From there, we place your order. As your cabinetry is built, we stay closely connected with you and your contractor to keep everything on track.
When it's time for delivery and installation, we're right there with you. Our team coordinates every step, from scheduling delivery to the final walkthrough, making sure your new space comes together exactly as you envisioned it.
